Restoration Furniture Blog

As a lot of you know, my husband is an artist and we have our own faux painting business. He does venetian plasters, murals, glazing, textures, cabinetry and furinture refinishing, art work, etc. We have started a blog to showcase his furniture that he has refinished which is called http://restorationfurniture.blogspot.com and whatever has a price on it is still for sale and whatever says "sold"...well you can figure that out. We have a button which is at the top right of this blog. We are trying to get the word out so pretty soon here we will be having a contest. The winner may receive one of many things. We haven't discussed exactly what yet but something along the lines of a free finish for one your pieces, a free piece of ours that Jake has refinished etc. Check out the blog to see the collection. (We also have a blog for our Royale Finishes business which is http://royalefinishesdesign.blogspot.com)

The art of restoration includes consideration towards the act of preservation. Everything that we do to a treasured piece of antique wood furniture today should be of a nature that is easy for a future generation to reverse. Thanks a lot.

Great post, I always wanted stylish furniture. But mostly the designs become too common in the market. It is good to know that many online furniture stores in Australia are looking for a change.
